A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates it. That provider processes the query and supplies its result. St. Clair County Criminal History does not keep or record those search terms on its own systems.

An email may be retained so our team can answer it. We do not disclose the message beyond our organization unless a valid legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers receive routine technical details when a page loads, including:

St. Clair County Criminal History does not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It identifies official sources such as the sheriff, Circuit Court, Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, and Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not turned into a consumer report or a third-party criminal record, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Their own policies, rather than this policy, govern any entry submitted to a tool. Each partner controls its retention and disclosure practices, so its privacy terms should be read before a query is sent.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to government offices, court portals, state agencies, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy terms apply. Review them before providing personal information.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to track activity across websites for targeted advertising.
